NEW CZUB/CZ-USA and DW Products for 2017.

I've seen a few pics of the new products for 2017 and I think fans will be well pleased with the
New Year's offerings.

While others will be clamoring to obtain the new CZ P10 C pistols in both 9mm and .40
calibers.

I'll hold out for a Flat Dark Earth version.
As stated before. I've waited for over 5 years for CZUB to offer a modernized striker-fired pistol..
so waiting a few months until the FDE models show up stateside- will be no problem for me.

Will Christmas Come Early?

Well, like some of you out there.

I have been reading posts about CZUB/CZ-USA's plans to give out more information
about their new CZ P10 C 9mm pistol...reportedly on Thanksgiving Day?

By minor speculation and maybe just good-old-fashioned wishful thinking..the new pistol
will be the long rumored (and hoped for) Striker-Fired addition to the CZ line.

While the old CZ-100 :

and CZ-110 (never for sale in the states) were striker-fired as
well. They didn't fare well ( at least in this country) in the battle among Wonder-Nines
way back then in the infancy of my growing CZforum.com

The God awful DAO trigger pull on my CZ-100 was kind of hit-and miss...as when you
pulled the trigger, you never knew where it was going to hit.

However...and I say that word alot these days when it comes to guns.

Like the CZ-100s best attributes of being light, compact and true to CZ heritage..
utterly reliable.

I'm hoping that CZUB did their homework on this new gun and it will live up to both
the factory's and discriminating CZ fan and owner standards.

So...My hope is that everyone here in the USA has a great Turkey Day, and I can get
a look at more pics and maybe some specs on the P10 C 9mm to post in a few weeks!

In any event, I wish everyone over at the factory and my friends in Kansas City,, the very
best with this new P 10 C..and their modern venture into the striker-fired world.

A Rainy October.

As we say goodbye to October and head into November 2016.

The Indian might clench the World Series as Boston fell behind sadly
due to their pitching. Still, one heck of a last season for Big Papi:)

I'm not alone when I say that as a CZ fan for over 35 years now, I'm
very excited to see what the good friends@ CZ/DW will offer us for 2017.

The prospect of a new CZ pistol model or even series... or a new rifle model lies ahead.

They were nice to Dan wesson owners last year for bringing put the 10mm Bruin, and
also returning to the standard Commander type guns (Valkyrie) without the BOB-tail
feature that some dislike on a 1911.

I'm always impressed when I watch "Razor Dobbs Alive" shoot big animals with a Double Tap
10mm bullet from his beloved Dan Wessons. Truly an awesome show on the Outdoor Channel.

I do know that some of you out there do like the Scorpion 9mm pistol and SBR as well.

I've never shot one but they do look fun.

Nor, have I shot the BREN in any caliber, as I'm mostly a handgun or shotgun guy,

A new RAMI to replace my 13 years of trusty EDC duty.. RAMI will be in order for
2017. This will be one of the now nearly impossible to find RAMI BD (decock lever)
with the factory installed tritium Nites.

The fresh Nites and the very safe decock lever will fuel the fire inside every RAMI lover or even
admirer.

I like Double Tap Ammo for its enhanced velocity and superb accuracy and quality control.

I've shot it mostly through my RAMI and other CZs without failure.

Probably 8,000 rounds in 6 years and have had One, not one hundred or even 10 bad rounds.
This was a 124 grain Bonded Defense (GOLD DOT) with a partial jacket peel.

Seeing that this was the only cartridge out of thousands fired over the years of 9mm,38/357/
.40.357 SIG/10mm, .380 ect. I keep it on my desk!

Given that CZs (Or copies) are top tier fighting arms and DT ammo is also superb, they go nicely together.

There might be newer rounds (HST, Guard Dog, PDX) on the market, but Gold Dots and the Barnes
TAC-XP designs have been dropping bad guys and all sorts of game for decades.

Well, I hope to one of the fisrt people to get the 2017 Buyer's Guide/Catalog from CZ-USA
next month or maybe early December.

There should be plenty of surprises in those pages, and I will sure to be including the new
products as shown in this Blog, even if I don't get any hands-on experience with them.

Stay Safe.

Summer is here!

Well...how can I say this?

Due to myself injuring both my back and right arm, I'm still healing up, but there has
been no Range action for the last 3 weeks.

No RAMI or other shooting as the weather has been beautiful for the most part.

Some interesting items at the CZ-USA Webstore.

I like their BACKPACK:

And also the new 511 KNIFE:
Should I get one, I'd take some good pics and set aside my well worn CZ-USA /BENCHMADE
folder.

For the CZ SCORPION fan and owner... there are some neat t-shirts.
Also some P-09 shirts:

I'm more of a P-01 or RAMI fan, though.

I still see that they offer the CZ-USA t-shirts in khaki:

A new shirt for 2106 doesn't forget our lady CZ fans:

A person can also find CZ-USA caps..  and other items to show CZ prideI.

I do like the darker colors for winter and lighter for the warmer months.
However.. the new Brown and Kryptek Camo caps look nice as well.
So, go out and buy that new or used CZ and get shooting!

April Rains.

Not much new for me in the way of any CZs, as I save towards a RAMI BD in the next month
or so.

Each Spring..I tell myself that this will be the year that I replace my RAMI (safety version)
with a RAMI BD.

As I did spend some time with a modified RAMI P for a Summer, but didn't much care
for the CZ85 Combat trigger that was the rage to have in a RAMI back then.

My first and now only RAMI, came home with me in April of 2004.

I was a new resident of Washington state, and still a Mariners fan.

We brought home this little guy the week after my RAMI was picked up.

Sadly, we lost little Boonie when he was only 6,  but my RAMI is still perking along.

A new RAMI BD as touched up by CZ-USA should fit in well with my old War Horse,
even if my RAMI has never really seen war, it has seen my through a few states, and some
situations that could have turned ugly in a few seconds.

The "Chunky Monkey" wasn't some "Chunky" right then, and I was lucky to have it on my side or
under my jacket.

These days when people are adding gizmos to keep their Glocks from going off when
they re-holster into kydex or other holsters..

The traditional CZ75 DA/SA action lets you re-holster with confidence in either DA or SA
 (cocked an locked) modes.

Now that SHTF GEAR has been renamed to Black Arch Holsters, the only problem that I can see
with my current RAMI, or a new RAMI BD, is the fact that while I love my ACE-1 hybrid kydex
holster.

Their newest model, the PROTOS, isn't yet available for the RAMI, or in their case the RAMI
BD. My ACE-1 is really molded for a RAMI BD, but don't tell my RAMI that:)

Do look for the new Black Arch Holsters link in the Links section.

I'll have to ad that I'm excited to see that the ROG (RAMI OWNER"S GROUP ) as found on
Facebook, is doing quite well, as is the CZ EDC Group as well. Look for those Links below.

I think it will be a fun and also interesting RAMI Season for 2016, and also fun for fans
and owners for other CZ models as well.

I was able to get to our wonderful indoor range in Lewiston, Idaho today.

My CZ 455 LUX with the .22 barrel and Nikko scope:

shot very well with all of the .22 LR
ammo that I had on hand, except with one of the CCI low velocity loads that hung up.

'Could have been me short-stroking the bolt, but I'd say the gun and the 25 round
magazine did fine.

I shot some interesting groups @25yards, which is the range's limit, but they were all printing low on the
target.

This could have been my scope or me with the trigger, but as you can see there were no flyers
out of the groups but one lone bullet.

I was mostly looking to semi-test the 10-round and 25-round .22 LR magazines from CZ-USA,
so accuracy was not my goal.

With about 75 rounds of assorted .22 Long Rifle downrange..I decided it was time for a fresh target and pistol time.

My RAMI ran perfectly fine with 47 of the locally made Blazer Brass in 9mm.

No surprises there as it's a RAMI:)

As I'm hoping to shoot this rifle more in both .22 Magnum and .22 LR.

Money not with-standing..I'd like to invest in a .17 HMR barrel and see how that does
as there is a good supply of HMR in my area's shop and stores.

I think this year will be the one that I retire my faithful RAMI of nearly 15 years..
in favor of a RAMI BD.

Fresh Nites , a very safe decocker and classic RAMI looks with long -standing
CZ reliability!
